The 22nd annual WWE SummerSlam wrestling event took place yesterday, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. And according to wrestling101.com, before the big event got underway, fans were treated to a pre-show 15-Diva Battle Royal, which saw Beth Phoenix defeat 14 other Divas.

And it had to be the World Heavyweight Championship TLC match, between CM Punk and Jeff Hardy that had to be one of the highlights of the night. It was during this bout, that Jeff climbed a ladder and delivered a Swanton Bomb to CM Punk, but then refused medical attention.

The match was finally over, when CM Punk defeated Jeff Hardy and took the World Heavyweight title. Then there was also the Intercontinental Championship, which saw Dolph Ziggler take on Rey Mysterio. Despite Dolph giving a great performance, it was Rey Mysterio that took the victory.
